1. Parties
Seller: Horitzon Explorers SL, CIF B67583930, Vilamari 86, Barcelona, Spain. Contact: info@farguides.com.
Buyer: the individual or legal entity making a purchase through farguides.com.
2. Subject matter
Far Guides sells digital travel guides accessible online. Content is available on any internet-connected device through the website, with no file download required. Guides are also optimised for offline use directly in the browser.
3. Price and taxes
Prices shown on the Site are in euros and include applicable VAT under current Spanish law. Payment is one-time — there are no recurring charges or automatic renewals.
Far Guides reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to each purchase is that shown at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Purchase process
- The user selects a guide and clicks the purchase button.
- They are redirected to Stripe's secure payment gateway to enter their payment details.
- Once payment is confirmed, the user receives a confirmation email with instructions to access their guide.
- Access is activated via a magic link sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
5. Access and duration
Access to the purchased guide is permanent for the content as it stands at the time of purchase. Additionally, content updates are included for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Far Guides reserves the right to modify or discontinue a destination with reasonable notice. In such cases, buyers will be offered an equivalent alternative or a full refund.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, as transposed into Spanish law (Art. 103.a TRLGDCU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with the consumer's express prior consent and their acknowledgement that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.
By completing a purchase, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees to these conditions, consents to the immediate commencement of the digital service, and thereby waives the 14-day withdrawal period.
If access fails to work correctly due to a fault on the part of Far Guides, the buyer may request contract cancellation and a full refund by contacting info@farguides.com.
7. Personal use licence
The purchase grants the user a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the guide content. The following are expressly prohibited:
- Sharing access credentials with third parties.
- Reproducing, distributing, reselling or publishing guide content in whole or in part.
- Using the content for commercial purposes without the written authorisation of Horitzon Explorers SL.
8. Liability
Far Guides produces its guides with the utmost care. However, travel information — prices, opening hours, visa requirements, local regulations — may change. Far Guides is not liable for any loss arising from changes to information after a guide's publication, or from travel decisions made based on guide content.
9. Dispute resolution
For any complaints, users should first contact info@farguides.com. If no satisfactory resolution is reached, users may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection jurisdiction that may apply.
