What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit in order to facilitate navigation and provide certain features.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They do not require your prior consent.

Name Purpose Duration
guide_access Authentication token that grants access to purchased guide content. 1 year
fg_consent_v2 (local storage) Remembers your privacy choices so we do not ask on every visit. Until you change your preferences or clear browser data

Analytics — Google Analytics 4

Only if you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand in aggregate how the Site is used, which pages are visited and how the purchase journey performs. It may create cookies such as _ga, _ga_* or _gid.

Advertising measurement — Google Ads

Only if you allow it, Google Ads may use cookies such as _gcl_* and our fg_attr cookie to attribute visits and purchases to a campaign. When a purchase occurs and you have consented to advertising data, we may send Google a SHA-256 hashed version of the email supplied during checkout to improve conversion attribution. Google does not receive the plain-text email through this feature.

Advertising personalisation is a separate preference. You may allow measurement without allowing personalised ads.

Consent Mode v2

Google tags load with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Until you consent, they cannot read or write those cookies or receive user data for advertising. Google may receive cookieless signals for aggregate measurement modelling under the Consent Mode configuration.

Third-party cookies — Stripe

When you make a purchase, you are redirected to Stripe's secure payment gateway. Stripe may set its own cookies to ensure payment security and prevent fraud. These cookies are subject to Stripe's privacy policy.

How to manage cookies

You can accept, reject or configure each purpose in the panel shown on your first visit. You can later change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, we stop using that category and remove its first-party cookies where the browser permits.

You may also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. If you delete guide_access, you will need to request access again using your email.
